After several years as an attorney in private practice, Mr. Viczorek joined the United States Marine Corps, and served two tours on active duty.  He then entered the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he continues to serve today at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  He has been mobilized three times and deployed once to Iraq.

After his last mobilization, Mr. Viczorek relocated to Dana Point and established a private law practice.  He has an office in Capistrano Beach where he focuses on appeals of federal and military criminal and administrative cases.  He is licensed to practice before all military courts, all California state courts, all United States District Courts in California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Viczorek is a member of the Dana Point City Council, recently re-elected to his second four-year term.  He also has served as Mayor of Dana Point (2017-2018) and Mayor Pro-Tem (2015-2016).

Richard A. Viczorek, Attorney-at-Law, graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science.  He earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, and he was admitted to practice before the California Bar in December 1995.  His license is #180947.
